Gorgeous family house with wrap-round sea views on stunning island. Five minutes walk across the field to a sandy beach with shallow turquoise water. Living room with stove, study, sun room, kitchen-dining room. Perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, hiking, canoeing and biking - and The Boathouse Michelin-listed seafood restaurant. Gigha is 3 hours’ drive from Glasgow, and a 20min ferry. The island is seven miles long, and our house is in the village near the shop and the Gigha Hotel and bar.
The house has a large kitchen-dining room, a living room with a wood burning stove, and study, and a sun room looking out to sea. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - King, Double and Twin all with sea views. There is a large garden with a lawn and bench. The washing machine and dryer are in the garage and also used for the house laundry. There’s a walk-in shower room downstairs and a bath with shower upstairs. We welcome dogs downstairs (where we have wood floors) and there is an outdoor hot and cold tap for muddy paws and boots!
Guests have access to everywhere in the house. Garage is used as the laundry room and will also occasionally be used by staff. If you have bikes or paddle boards you can keep them safely in the garage. Parking for two cars in the driveway.
